  This is one of America's great cemeteries that reminds me of the famous Woodlawn Cemetery in New York City. Buried here are some of Hartford's famous including Samuel Colt, J.P. Morgan, the Goodwins and others, including Katharine Hepburn.
  
  There's a beautiful walking sections along the lake where ashes of those cremated can be spread, and the grave markers cover every aspect of social status, including grand pillars of granite and large mausoleums for entire families to be laid to rest. If your'e into history, this cemetery is definitely worth a visit.

  Beautiful area with a great history, loved the walking tour and info brochure. Highly recommended for history and cemetery buffs.
